Time Travel (The Speed Barriers)

Time travel a concept that breaks the barriers of human evolution and may be breaking the fear of extinction as well. Time travel for long has been a fantasy that pulls the human mind to the future of human race and not only the future, but rather the feeling of changing its own past.

Time travelling at its core demands someone closing in on the speed of light which by the way our genius Einstein proved impossible. So what should we do unfortunately that marvelous genius is correct. So it is sad, if someone tries to approach the speed of light that makes time slow down. If the time is slowing down it would rather mean I won't get old that is awesome as well. So supposedly if I am travelling at the speed of light and when I reach at the speed of light I may get infinite mass. So physically it is not possible for me to travel at the speed of light.

Sending someone virtually is another option under some discussion but for that we are banging our head on the wall as we need quantum computing really to even make a step forward in that direction to make this massive computing even possible. I liked the movie paycheck they actually showed the concept of time travelling virtually that looks promising.

Now coming to the physical means of time travelling I know that people do give a concept of creating worm holes. Creating a tunnel through the space time fabric another highly speculative and seemingly impossible idea, Our entire Solar system is placed exactly on that same space fabric and it seems pretty elastic as well so how on earth can we be breaking the fabric in order to create a tunnel through space I seem pretty bemused but practically we would require infinite energy to make a wormhole, it's more like creating an artificial black hole.

By the way why we don’t use a natural black hole as tunnel to get into other parts of the universe, it is interesting to note that black holes immense gravity is so huge that anything closing on a black hole will shrink to disintegrate. Some scientists though argue that we can use the immense gravity of the black hole to catapult in a space craft into the black hole. Our design of a space craft should be such that it uses the gravity of the black hole to gain speed. That is rather interesting and seems to be applicable alternative. We don’t know what we would see if we cross a black hole alive.

The basic problem in reaching out for the black holes is that they are so far away from our planet that we still would require something close to the speed of light to reach them. As of now the closest known one is thought to lie at about 1,600 light years from Earth The black hole, which is associated with a visible star called V 4641, is being called a micro-quasar because it exhibited for a few days the brilliant behavior associated with quasars.

By the looks of that distance it is quite obvious that we would require traveling much faster than the speed of light to reach that black hole or any black hole for that matter. This article is full of imagination I do feel with the passage of time these imaginations could really prosper in to something meaningful. I myself have some doubts on whether these things are possible or not but hope is the word that human beings never loose. Where there is will there is a way. We humans believe that where there is a hope there is always a light in the tunnel.

This Era of Space Age is far from over and the human technological advances are going beyond the barriers of imagination. From Galaxy to Galaxy, Planet to Planet and may be from Universe to another Universe Human mind is extracting new ideas new Truths and new findings every day. The Parallel Universes or the String theory or even the theory of relativity is a marvel of the Human Mind. If Human mind can think like that imagining the Powers of the Creator of the universe is not possible as we don’t have any reference point for GOD to compare from. He is the only one, the sole responsible, the sole Creator and the Master of the whole universe.
